Following the acquisition of the scheme in 2021 by George Capital and Invesco, Evys were retained by George Capital as asset manager and development manager, responsible for delivering the strategic asset business plan including scheme repositioning and phased refurbishment strategy.
Comprising over 300,000 sq ft of prime retail and F&B accommodation, The Fort is in the top 25 retail park destinations in the UK. Anchored by Primark, Next, Boots, JD and Sports direct, the tenant line-up also includes the likes of River Island, New Look, Vision Express, Moss, Superdrug, Starbucks, Costa, Nandos and Five Guys amongst others.
Key achievements include: a 25,000 sq ft prelet to B&M and commencement of a major £4million refurbishment phase following receipt of planning; new lettings to Five Guys, Greggs, and New Look; regears with Costa, Vision Express, and Nandos. In addition, key ESG initiatives are proposed including significant EVC and solar PV installations.
